A new series of events to investigate the theme of city transformations and the delicate relationship between the historic city and the contemporary city, symbolically supporting the cities of Ivrea, Matera and Pozzuoli in the activities in which they will play a leading role in the coming years.
The first event “The industrial city of Ivrea and the first Italian application as a UNESCO site of architectural heritage of the twentieth century” with Giorgio Ciucci, is dedicated to the city to which the name of Adriano Olivetti is closely linked, having joined the events of the company to the history of the territory. Olivetti has created a unique project of reform and social progress that can bind together development, equity and justice. “The city of man”, with its buildings for the factory and the community, taking shape over thirty years and feeding on the innovative practices introduced in the work organization and the political proposals of the Community Movement.
